Experience
We use an emergent curriculum negotiated by the preschoolers, teachers and the "project approach" is implemented with the infants and toddlers involved. Projects can be either long or short term, lasting just a few moments or weeks depending on interest and possibilities for in depth exploration. Children and teachers are seen as collaborators together researching and learning.

Andrea’s Learning Center is Reggio Emilia inspired and dedicated to providing a warm and inviting atmosphere that allows children to develop at their own pace. We believe that children need to have a positive self-image. We foster that image, along with their developmental growth in the areas of intellectual, social, physical, and emotional skills. Andrea’s Learning Center uses the children’s interests and at the same time weaves traditional subjects into the children’s school experience.
Inspired by the schools in Reggio Emilia, Italy we follow the approach and specialize in meeting the needs of infants, toddlers and preschoolers in a nurturing environment. The infants and toddlers are welcome to participate with the preschoolers in music and movement, indoor/outdoor play, art, and listen to stories, numbers/alphabet fun. During the day children learn early to ask new questions, and discover new problems to solve.

About Us
Andrea's Learning Center has been in the business of caring and educating young children since 1996. Our philosophy is based on the belief that the child's needs are of the utmost importance. The entire team is committed to meeting the needs of the whole child. As a result, a high percentage of our families are from referrals.
